​Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Holiness Church was established on Virginia Ave in Portsmouth; VA. Years later Pastor and the saints moved to the present location in Gilmerton section of Chesapeake, VA. Through the years more souls came as such to be saved according to the scriptures.

Her leadership, powerful teaching and preaching, will forever be in our hearts. To some, she was a Pastor and to others a mother. Before leaving she passed down the mantle to our present Pastor, Bishop Albert Gailliard before leaving instructions to continue the work she placed there.

In 1997 the Lord called Pastor Jordan home, but for over 75 years we are still "Holding On" Her favorite saying was "Children, When You Find Love, Hold on to It". In 1998, the Lord blessed Faith Tabernacle to gain a new Pastor, Bishop Albert Gailliard.​​​
