Bishop Albert A. Gailliard is truly one of God’s chosen vessels. He came to Faith Tabernacle one Sunday morning, and after hearing the Word preached, the Lord pricked his heart. Shortly afterward, he was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. From that moment on, he served faithfully in many roles: Brother, Sunday School Teacher, Brotherhood President, and Church Van Driver.

 

In 1986, the Lord called him into ministry. He was ordained first as a Minister and later as an Elder in the Lord’s church. Following the passing of the former Pastor, Dorothy B. Jordan, he was called to lead Faith Tabernacle as Pastor in 1998.

On July 24, 2022, our Pastor was elevated to the office of Bishop. His desire is to bring lost souls to Christ, for our redemption draweth nigh. He often reminds us to “be steadfast, unmovable in the Lord, and to contend for the faith.” His favorite scripture is, “For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.” Luke 1:49​
