Mission Statement
Faith Tabernacle is a Bible believing, Apostolic Holiness church committed to living in obedience to God's Word and walking in the power of the Holy Ghost. We hold fast to the Apostles doctrine, preaching repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name and in the filling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:38). Our Mission is to proclaim the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, call souls to holiness, and equip believers to live a sanctified and Holy life. With love, truth, and unwavering faith, we are devoted to reaching our community and the world with the transforming power of God's Holy word.
The Year of Resistance
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:14.
This year is marked as "The Year of Resistance" a time to stand firm in faith, to endure hardship, and to press forward with unwavering determination. As Paul declares in Philippians 3:14, our focus is on the goal- God's calling in Christ Jesus. Resistance, in this context, is not about rebellion against people, but a spiritual stance against everything that tries to hinder our walk with God, fear, doubt, complacency, and distraction. It is the refusal to settle, to give in, or to turn back. We resist discouragement by holding on to hope. We resist temptation by clinging to truth. We resist spiritual stagnation by continuing to grow in prayer, purpose, and passion. This is a year to press on, to strain forward with perseverance and purpose, knowing that the prize we seek is not earthly but eternal. In every trial, in every moment of weakness, we declare we will not quit. This is the year we resist and overcome.
