What We Believe

Word of God

The Word of God, found in the Bible, is God’s message to humanity. It teaches us about His love, truth, wisdom, and plan for our lives. It gives us guidance when we are unsure, strength when we are struggling, and hope when we feel discouraged. By reading and following God’s Word, we can grow closer to Him and learn how to live according to His will.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God."

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for our faith and Christian living. It reveals God’s plan for humanity, teaches us how to live, and points us to salvation through Jesus Christ.

 God

We believe there is one God, the Creator of heaven and earth. He has revealed Himself as the Father, through the Son, Jesus Christ, and by the Holy Spirit. God is eternal, holy, all powerful, and worthy of our worship.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God manifested in human flesh. He is our Savior, Lord, and Creator. Through His life, death, burial, and resurrection, God provided the way for humanity to be reconciled to Him.

The Holy Ghost

We believe the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God who lives and works in believers. The Holy Ghost comforts, guides, strengthens, transforms, and empowers us to live faithfully and fulfill God’s purpose.

Sin

We believe sin is disobedience to God and has affected every person. Sin separates humanity from God and ultimately leads to spiritual death. Because everyone has sinned, every person needs God’s forgiveness and salvation.

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s gift made possible through Jesus Christ. The New Testament pattern of salvation includes repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Ghost. Salvation is more than a moment of decision. It begins a lifelong relationship with God and a commitment to follow Christ.

Holiness

We believe salvation calls us to a transformed life. Christians are called to pursue holiness, righteousness, integrity, and obedience to God. Our conduct, relationships, choices, and character should reflect Christ. We recognize that holy living is not achieved by human strength alone but through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is an essential part of the Christian experience and should be received by those who have repented and believed in Jesus Christ. We baptize in the name of Jesus Christ as an expression of faith, obedience, and identification with Christ. Baptism represents the believer’s commitment to leave the old life behind and begin a new life in Christ.

Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. His return is the hope of the Church and the fulfillment of God’s promise. Believers are called to remain faithful, spiritually prepared, and committed to Christ as we await His coming.

Christian Living

We believe following Jesus affects every part of life. Christians are called to love God, love others, serve faithfully, pursue righteousness, practice forgiveness, and represent Christ in their families, churches, communities, and daily lives.
